I created a nonprofit dance team at the age of 15, to create a positive outlet for the youth in my community! As a youth myself I still decided to lead a group of young girls in the right path while still growing! And I created a family instead of just a dance team! Mentored my dancers for over 3 years and still play a role in their life today! One of them messaged me a few days ago thanking me for saving them from going down the wrong path of stealing cars, chasing boys, running away from home! She is now graduating at the age of 16 from high school and says I played a role into her change in life and stated that she dont know where she would be without me! And there are so many more that still look up to me until this day I was more than a leader or coach to them! I made everyone feel involved, loved! I was there for emotional support, I was there to tell them right from wrong, there to hear them vent! Etc. I feel this played an important role in shaping who I am today , it shows my character , the person I am! I did it out of love Ive never made money off of it because its a passion to give back to people! Ive always been a giver without expecting anything in return! Ive always been the friend to go above and beyond for the people around me ! Loyalty runs deep within me & I am dedicated to anything I put my mind to! Ive always been a leader! Ive donated clothes to young girls! I did fundraisers to help raise for my team fundings to travel & etc!
