Narrative Topic Proposal

• After reading all the resources posted in this module (Week 2 – Jan 19/22), follow the directions outlined in bold down below:
• It is necessary for you to not only follow all the directions for this assignment, but also write about two potential topics because I will give feedback guiding you toward the topic with the most writing and narrative potential.
• If you do not follow the instructions, not only will it be more difficult for me to direct you to a suitable topic for this unit, the writing process could be more difficult for you, if your topic is not best suited for narrative writing. Therefore, do read all the resources and give effort to developing a potential topic.
• If you do not answer all the questions, you will not receive full credit.

It is time for us to dive deeper into the narrative writing process and begin drafting possible narrative topics for your essay.

Brainstorm TWO potential topics and write a minimum of 160 words for each topic, explaining in detail:

• What the topic is
• What is meaningful or interesting about it
• What is the conflict of the story
• The purpose of wanting to write about this topic
• Is this a topic that can include sensory details?
• Is this a topic suitable for narrative writing, meaning does it have all of the narrative arc components (will not accept basic yes or no response, explain how).
