Improving a Meeting to Benefit a Client

As a case manager, you are facilitating an interdisciplinary meeting for a client. In the meeting, each team provides a report of the clients progress towards treatment goals. During the meeting, you notice that the client has been sitting with arms crossed and looking down most of the time. At the conclusion of the meeting, you ask the client how things are going, and the client only reports, I dont know. Following the meeting, you meet one-on-one with the client. The client expresses, No one cares what I want anyway, so I just dont say anything.

Instructions:

Conduct research on effective ways to facilitate interdisciplinary/team meetings. In a 1-2 page Microsoft Word document, explain at least two changes you would make to the meeting to enhance communication and how these changes could benefit the client.
