For this mark, students will submit a short response/reflection (2-3 pages, double space) on a theoretical assigned reading. For Response 2, students will respond to “Indigenous African Traditions as Models for Theorizing Religion” by Edward Antonio.

Each reflection is worth 3-point percentage mark of the class (note: an excellent reflection/response is worth the full 3 points, a mediocre one 1 point, and an average reflection 2 points). Two-thirds of the response/reflection should be a specific summary of points made in the assigned reading. The remainder is an opportunity for you to identify which aspect(s) of the reading you consider important and why.
