Concept Lab

For this assignment, you will create a concept map of scarlet fever. Your concept map should be one page in length and follow the template provided below. You may use your textbook or additional resources from the library to complete your concept map. Resources should be listed at the end of the map in APA Style.

Address the following items in your concept map:

• Name of the disease or disorder.
• Conditions and risk factors that would put the patient at risk for complications.
• Pathophysiology behind the disease or disorder.
• Interventions used in the treatment of the disease or disorder, including pharmacological and nonpharmacological nursing interventions.
• Common physical exam findings. (What do we see?)
• Expected outcomes and goals for the patients. (What do we want to see happen?)
• Red flags that may indicate a patient is worsening.
