Discussion 2: Intracellular Organelles

In this discussion, we discuss intracellular organelles. Pick the organelle that interests you the most. Do not attempt to complete this discussion until you have read the appropriate sections in Chapter 3. You will be able to see your classmates’ posts before you post yours, so check in before you choose your organelle. Once an organelle has been selected three times, it is off limits and you should pick a different one. For your original post you should:

• Define the organelles structure
• Detail the organelles function(s)
• Describe interactions with other organelles
• Include both a drawn image and a microscopic image of the organelle
• Discuss at least three problems or diseases that can occur when organelle malfunctions

• Use appropriate APA citations when you are using a source.
• Use your own intelligence to create your post and responses.
