Introduction:

Levels of measurement are important to any study. The goal is to measure variables at the highest level possible. For example, a person’s sex will always be a nominal level measure. It can never be a higher level of measurement. However, variables such as satisfaction level can be changed from Nominal to Ordinal, while ratio level measures such as grade point average can also be measured at the ordinal level. In the assignment below, you will be identifying levels of measurement for independent and dependent variables used in the and transforming them into different measures.
