• Read pp. 10-12 in the booklet to learn about the Social Innovation in Health approach
• Review and select a case study from the booklet (there are 23 case studies to choose from and they begin on page 21, you can see them listed in the table of contents on p. 5). You can also read more about your selected case study on the

Note: Please look up any terms you might be unfamiliar with to understand the case study better (for instance, one of the case studies talks about a hub and spoke model, which means there is a main health campus or hub that receives the largest investment in resources and where the most complicated or demanding medical services are offered. This is complemented by other health campuses spread across a region, but which are not as well equipped for intensive medical care). You can also see the list of abbreviations located on page 6 of the booklet to understand some of the shortened terminology better.

• Based on your booklet reading and case study, answer the following questions for your original post:

1. In your own words what does the social innovation to health approach mean? How does it compliment the SDoH approach to health? Please note: Your answer should show that you have read pp. 10-12 in the book i.e., should support answer with points from this reading
2. Write the title of your case study
3. Give a brief background on the problem/health access issue they are seeking to address and the location (i.e., provide some numbers to show the extent of the problem 80% people in Southeast Argentinean town walk 5+ miles to access health care facility)
4. Explain the solution presented in the case study, what are they trying to do to address this?
5. How has this changed the current situation? What progress are they able to accomplish?
6. What did you find most interesting or enjoy the most about your case study?
