The first concept I learned is that our stomach cells are constantly dying because of our stomach acids. Our stomach is constantly reproducing them.
The second concept I learned is the meaning of hydrophilic, hydro is water, and philic is loving. So if something is hydrophilic it is water loving and usually dissolves in water (salt).
The third concept I learned is the difference between polar and non-polar bonds. I think the structures of them look cool too!
I find it interesting how we can’t really drink anything above a PH of 9, but we can drink as low as PH 2.
I find water tension interesting because it is strong enough to hold up a water strider. Or when you fill a cup up the water the tension will hold it for a while when you overfill it.
One thing that I didn’t fully understand is how heat capacity works.
