o start with, you will identify a local or regional innovative startup firm in the Tourism sector. Airlines (e.g. Emirates, Etihad, Fly Dubai, etc.) are EXCLUDED. You will collect primary data from managers at the organization and/or its customers, that you will complement with secondary data from reliable sources (industry reports, annual reports, academic literature, etc.), organizations web site and newspaper articles. Based on your synthesis and critical analysis of the data collected, you will create a Forum post, where you will use storytelling to discuss the innovation trajectory, i.e. how the innovation process was initiated, facilitated, and managed. You have a lot of options and flexibility in selecting a case organization. For example, you could select Jumeirah hotels (https://www.jumeirah.com/en /), Dnata (https://www.dnata.com/en/), Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding (SMCCU) (https://cultures.ae/ etc), Al Ramsa Institute (https://alramsa.ae/), Big Bus Tours Dubai (https://www.bigbustours.com/en/dubai/dubai-bus-tours). The case organization may equally be a less-known local brand like a local guide in historical districts (e.g. https://www.klook.com/activity/125567-old-town-walking-tour-with-souks-abra-ridesnacks/). At the next stage, you will analyse the data collected to discuss the source of the idea/insight, the type of innovation relating to the idea implemented, the institutional ecosystem for innovation, and finally predict/assess the innovation trajectory using Innovation Theories.
