Students will write a 7-page research paper on their assigned respiratory care equipment topic using APA 7th edition format, including a title page, approximately 5 pages of content, and a references page. Papers must be double-spaced, use 12-point Times New Roman, 1-inch margins, and include page numbers. The paper should include an introduction explaining the topics importance in respiratory care and stating the purpose, followed by sections covering equipment backgrourd and design, components, principles of operation, clinical applications, safety considerations, troubleshooting, and the role of the respiratory therapist. Conclude with a summary emphasizing key points and clinical relevance. A minimum of three scholarly sources is required, all properly cited in-text and listed on the References page in APA format. Clear, professional writing is expected, and plagiarism will not be tolerated.
