1. Following the examples in Figure 2.6 (Classroom Assessment in Multiple Languages, p. 38), combine content and language standards into sample integrated learning targets that could be used by multilingual learners to guide their own learning.
2. Indicate two or three strategies for increasing student oral language use in the classroom, while meeting the learning target.
3. Give one example assessment strategy that allows both the multilingual learner and the teacher to evaluate whether the student has met the learning target.
