Recently, your staff has reported that a few residents are exhibiting phobias that are significantly disrupting all residents at the halfway house and creating a general sense of fear and anxiety. You have decided to develop a professional development seminar to help the staff learn more about personality, human behavior, and potential causes for the phobias. You plan to use Freuds Little Hans case study to provide valuable insights for the staff to better understand and support the residents. Review the summary of Sigmund Freuds Little Hans case study in Ch. 4, Freuds Psychoanalytic Theory: Applications, Related Theoretical Conceptions, and Contemporary Research, of your textbook, Personality: Theory and Research.
