This familiarized me with medication names, data organization, and patient care. At my job at a fast-paced salon, I learned the importance of customer service, organization, and responsibility. As someone whose experienced both sides of the pharmacy counter, I’ve really learned how important it is to not only do your part as pharmacy staff in delivering the correct medications, but also to make sure the patient feels heard and cared for.
