Week 4 Reflection

After reviewing the weekly readings, definitions, and graphics on storge and pragma, we’ve discovered that familial love begins forming in adolescence and can be present in a variety of relationships. We also learned about the type of mature love that evolves and develops over time in long-term relationships. Find a quote, poem, or short reading that demonstrates both forms of love to you. What does each form of love mean to you? How has familial love been present in your life? Perhaps it’s through parents, grandparents, aunts/uncles, or through the family, you have created. Or perhaps this is an area of love in which you hope to grow. If so, expand on your quote, poem, or short reading choice that represents this form of love and what it means to you. When discussing pragma or enduring love, answer the same questions above. What does this form of love mean to you? Perhaps you have not yet experienced this form of love, this is alright. In your reflections brainstorm what it would mean to you and find a relevant example of pragma love.
