Weekly Discussion

We have been studying policy formulation as part of our policymaking cycle model. As you are aware, the stages of policy formulation are agenda setting and legislation development. For this class discussion board, you are to review the video (approximately an hour in length) and post a thread discussing how the Affordable Care Act was developed in its policy formulation phase. You are to illustrate your understanding of the elements of policymaking including the role of interest groups and any other relevant information. Additionally can you name, any other legislation which would be a good subject for studying policy formulation and why?
