Very soon the flexibility of working from home so appealed to many remote workers that they were reluctant to return to a physical office full-time. Although some companies (notably Meta, Amazon, Apple, and Snap) have mandated in-office work, roughly half of all positions run on a hybrid work schedule–a mix of in-person and remote work. About 15 percent are fully remote. This assignment requires only minimal research. The lessons of Chapters 1, 2, and 3 should suffice. Your Task: Submit a written assignment that makes a strong case for part-time or full-time remote work–or the reverse, argue for full-time in-office work. a. Clarify your position.
